There is no difference. ‘Marquee’ is a more traditional British/European word. ‘Party Tent’ is used more in the USA and Asia, the term ‘party tent’ is often stigmatised because of the cheap, flimsy structures that are sold on auction sites.

Of course, a site visit is offered to every enquiry we get. We feel a site visit is a great way to get to know each other, along with being the perfect time to survey the area together.

A marquee can go on both. If it is erected on grass then it we can use stakes to secure it to the ground, on hard standing, we would use heavy weights.

If your order is under £500.00 we ask for a £100.00 deposit. If it is over £500.00 we ask for a 25% deposit. The cleared balance is then due on the day of delivery.

Typically we would set up the marquee a day or two before. Dismantle would be a day or two after. We always give you enough time to do any decorating or extra work that you need to do. If you require specific times of set up and dismantle, they can be discussed at the site visit.

Ideally you would order the correct size marquee based around the amount of guests that you are expecting. Sometimes this isn’t possible, maybe you’re having a garden party and have restricted space. We have years of experience in utilising the space that you have available. At the site visit we will be able to discuss the sizes and which will be the right for your event.
