Okay so the festive season is nearly upon us and there is that age old worry about the Christmas dinner, where will people sit? Have we got enough room? I guess that if you have found my blog then you have probably been asking yourself these questions. Maybe I will be able to put your mind at rest. What I am going to talk about is having Christmas dinner in a garden marquee in Cheshire, as I have done in previous blogs I will highlight the other options that are available and have a look at the good and the bad parts of these options.
More than likely you will have considered dining out for Christmas dinner, this may seem great as there will be absolutely no washing up to after dinner and everyone can relax, however not everyone can relax for the reason that someone has got to drive to the restaurant/pub in order for you to have dinner (cabs are few and far between on Christmas day so this is out of the question).
The fact of the matter is, there are only two options, the one that I have just mentioned and to stay at home. A lot of families take it in turns to prepare Christmas dinner, alternatively they all go to the same house each year, either way what I am about to talk about will help your plans whether you take it in turns or frequent the same house year on year.
Most of us have been in the situation where the family have been sat around a cramped table on different height chairs that don’t match, some dining furniture and some garden furniture with the odd stool thrown in for good measure. Although this can be fun, the whole reason for Christmas is about the whole family spending time all in the same place. Why not be comfortable in the process of enjoying each other’s company?
By having a marquee for Christmas dinner it will solve a lot of the anxiety that comes with preparing the food and worrying about where people will sit. The marquee in a lot of cases can be an extension of the house so the guests will be able to just treat it as another room (ideal if there isn’t a lot of room in the house and you have garden space just sitting there). Another good point is that we can supply tables and chairs for all your guests all at the same height too! I would encourage anyone hiring to put their own décor up in the marquee, this lets you have a blank canvas where you can use your own colour scheme or create a particular theme, you may just choose to go for a traditional Christmas theme.
We do allow you have the marquee for three or four days at no extra cost so there is no need to worry about costs mounting up because of the break, the marquee will be put up in most cases before Christmas eve and then taken down after boxing day. Every hire that we provide has heating, lighting and flooring included in the price which gives you peace of mind that your guests will be dry and warm.
There are limited spaces available for Christmas day. We have already got some booked in and we are getting enquiries almost daily, so if you are planning an event and are interested in Christmas dinner in a garden marquee in Cheshire please call soon to avoid disappointment.
