Summer is on its way. Its time to start planning that celebration. You are thinking of hiring a small marquee or event tent in Wrexham and need some help. One Month Before
- Set a date, time and place for your event

- Decide on a theme
- Think of ways to make your party special, like surprising entertainment, beautiful decor or fabulous food
Three Weeks Before
- Mail or email invitations
- Order flowers from your local florist
- Check if you have all the necessary serving pieces
Two Weeks Before
- Create place cards
- Plan your menu/catering requirements and create a master shopping list
- Draft a timeline for creating each dish
- Prepare any menu items that can be frozen
One Week Before
- Follow up with any guests that haven’t yet R.S.V.P’d
- Stock up on wine and liquor
- Create your iPod playlist
Two Days Before
- Buy groceries and additional bar items
- If your event is formal write place cards and form a seating arrangement
- Wash glassware serving pieces and silverware
One Day Before
- Pick up and arrange flowers
- Prep and chop vegetables, wash salad greens, refrigerate.
- Prepare any sauces or salad dressings that can be refrigerated.
- Inform the neighbors
Morning Of The Party
- Chill wine
- Set tables
- Set up the bar and drink garnishes
- Marinate meat if necessary
- Check the guest bathroom and lay out clean towels
