Whilst taking down a marquee in a customers garden in the rain yesterday following a birthday celebration I overheard a member of the family say to neighbour that had called round to the house that ‘it was the best party they had ever been to’ suddenly taking the marquee down in the rain wasn’t that bad.
Once all the gear was packed away and I was ready for leaving I received a warm handshake and some kind words that went ‘we have got your phone number and we will certainly be using your services again’ this is really what running a business is about in my eyes, I left the job yesterday with a sense of achievement and was extremely content knowing that they will remember that birthday celebration for years to come.
Just thought that I would share this because it made my weekend 🙂
