Ok so you are thinking of having a New Year’s Eve party in Cheshire, you have lots of things to consider and it is starting to become quite frustrating I would imagine.  Let’s go through the pro’s and con’s of some options.

Maybe you have the option to go to the local pub which may be a good idea to catch up with friends that you may not have seen for a while however from personal experiences at the local pub on New Year’s Eve it is usually very full and difficult to get a drink through the large crowd that gathers around the bar.

Another option may be to attend a hotel with a cabaret function of some sort, usually priced at a certain amount per head, these can be a quick fix to your party needs on New Year and a lot of the time have some great entertainment on.  The downside of these functions is that the hotel could be quite remote and difficult to get to unless you either drive (not much fun on New Year), pay over the odds for a cab or stay at the hotel which again is an added expense.

You could go away for New Year on a city break which would be absolutely amazing, almost certainly you would make all your friends extremely envious but these kind of New Year’s Eve breaks are few and far between and definitely cost a pretty penny or two.

Sometimes people opt for the traditional house party.  These are great for the reason that you don’t have to go anywhere in a taxi, you can play whatever music that you so desire all night and the booze is considerably cheaper than all of the options above.  It seems like there are no cons to this option but there are a couple, you spend all of your weekends doing DIY and getting your house just how you want it and then when a party comes along things get broken or maybe some red wine gets spilt on that cream rug you have saved up for and it is ruined.

The last option is to stay in and watch Jools Holland’s Hootenanny but you could run the risk of being called boring by your friends and family, the Hootenanny really isn’t that good and you have worked hard all year so it is time to dust off those dancing shoes and party the night away.

We have a solution that could be the answer all your problems. By hiring a marquee/party tent to put up in the garden you don’t have to travel by cab, all of your friends can come round without trashing your house, you can play whatever music that you desire all night, there are no annoying queues at the bar waiting to get an overpriced drink, the marquee can decorated to your taste with themes etc, you can get all your booze form the supermarket nice and cheap, cook your own food, the possibilities are endless.

Our solution is great for the people whom have children but still want to have a celebration on New Year, you can put the children to bed and still enjoy yourself without having the bother of finding someone to babysit which is nigh on impossible on this night.

You may now have in the back of your mind about downsides of this option and the two biggest ones will be what it rains?  will we be warm enough?  The Answer to these questions is the marquee is the marquee is waterproof and heating, lighting and flooring is provided with every hire to keep you and your guests warm.

So let’s recap, you have various options that have some appealing points but could either end up being quite pricy or annoying or you have an option that won’t cost the earth and will satisfy all your party needs in a nutshell.

A wide range of  tables and chairs are available to hire as well, usually at a party such as a New Year’s Eve party in a marquee our customers will hire chairs and tables to accommodate 50% of the amount of people attending, for example if you have 60 guests attending then hire enough seating and tables for 30.  From our experience the men attending a party will tend to stand and chat amongst themselves and the ladies usually sit, then you have the real party animals that stay up dancing all night.

If you are thinking of having a New Year’s Eve party in Cheshire and like the sound of hiring one of our marquees for your event then please get in touch, we have already got some booked in so be quick to avoid disappointment.
