Two things you should definitely consider before opting for a wedding tent is erecting the structure and the planning that goes with it. Putting up a wedding tent is not going to be like putting up any old tent in your garden.

You also gain access to knowledge of everything you need to make the tent comfortable and inviting for your guests
- Pick The Right Kind of Wedding Tent
There are many different types of event tents suitable for weddings. You could even host your wedding a in a tepee but this really depends on what type of wedding you are organising. For instance do you want a tent that is robust and spacious? Or perhaps more formal allowing you to enjoy a more traditional wedding reception?
- Are there any local noise restrictions?
Wedding tents can get quite rowdy with everyone enjoying themselves and music playing so it is worth checking with the neighbours and checking with anyone else who may have objections.
- Try to give the wedding tent company plenty of notice
Most weddings are planned for a year or so which means this shouldn’t be an issue but it is worth noting that time will be needed to pick the right style and size of tent as well as all the bits that go with it such as lighting, flowers flooring and so on.
- It is advisable to include flooring with your wedding tent
Depending on the time of year, you may get away with the lawn proving a floor for the tent but this doesn’t necessarily make things comfortable for guests with heels who may find them sinking into the ground. There are plenty of options when it comes to flooring for your wedding tent.
- Temperature
The right temperature is an important part of being comfortable in your wedding tent. On hot summer days temperatures inside a tent without air conditioning can rise so it is worth installing air conditioning. If the weather happens to be unseasonably cold you may also need heating to ensure guests are comfortable.
